Home and Away and Neighbours are just really crappy drama soaps that we have here.

They have spawned some pretty terrible actors, but I guess they've also spawned some pretty well known talents too.

Kylie Minogue started off as an actor in Neighbours.
And Matt Damon (who played "Mouse" in the Matrix, and recently tried to sell Deathsticks to Obiwan Kenobi) once played a high schooler in Home and Away. The girl who was the "white bunny" in The Matrix is currently acting on Home and Away atm.

I dunno... I'm not a huge fan of soap operas. 'specially bad soap operas.
