It is a real thing. It isn't a licensed Hasbro toy, but it is just as REAL as it was before.

I don't regret making a show-like BM Silverbolt even though no such toy will ever be mass produced.

Look back at the start of this conversation. After your comment about repainting a Jetstorm, I said that I was going to paint a mini Scourge as a Laser Prime. So what's the problem.

>But repainting a large Scourge/Black Convoy as Laser

Of course, I wouldn't do that since they are roughly the same value. Maybe Laser Prime is a bit more, but Black Convoy is not cheap. I did make a Go Shooter and a Minerva from mixing pieces from knockoffs and using some parts from Siren and a little paint. And I don't regret it.

But "Cheating"? What the heck? Are you trying to establish RULES or something? I didn't know I was in a contest.

>Repainting it as an Optimus Prime in different colours
>(not Laser Prime colours) would be cool -- e.g.:
>painting the chest red and the "windows" blue to make
>his torso look more "Prime" like, as opposed to
>painting it all light gray to make it look more like
>Laser Prime. That would be cool because it's something

Thanks for the idea, I expect that I will do this as well.

Can I just make a toy (even not from the show) look more like I want? Is that allowed in the rules?

>But taking a toy and modifying it to look like a toy
>that already exists but you don't have (e.g.:
>repainting a spare Cheetor in the same colours as

That's not what we're talking about. There is no mini-Laser Prime.

So out Transformer counts are the big contest? Then I'll relax, knowing that I'm beating you even without my customs. = ) Now if I can just get a lead on Dirge!!
