Subject: Which is the best base?

Just sort of an opinion poll here, which base mold is your favorite, and why? What might you change to make a mold more preferable? I'm looking for input for something I'm thinking about designing...

The four key molds are: Metroplex, Trypticon, Scorponok, and Fort Max. And for the sake of argument, let's not count the fact that the latter two are twice the size of the former two. In other words, let's just say they're the same size.

Heck, for that matter, you can mention characters, too. I'd like to find out more about Grand Max or Metrotitan myself(incidently, I always found it interesting that Metrotitan shared the same color scheme as Autobot City Commander, Ultra Magnus).
