The original Bandai VF-1S prototype Strike Valkyrie mould (not the actual Strike Valkyrie design that they actually used) was the mould used for Jetfire.

The Yamato VF-1S Super Valkyrie is a completely different toy altogether.

It wouldn't work, since it's the wrong mould, and the fact that Jetfire has characteristics of both the VF-1S Super Valkyrie and the VF-1S Strike Valkyrie -- essentially, it has the body of a Strike Valkyrie, but the accessories of a Super Valkyrie. So the only true way you could cobble yourself a Jetfire toy from another toy company like Yamato is to take the body of a VF-1S Strike Valkyrie, attach the accessories from a Super Valkyrie and then repaint the whole thing.

As for my definition of "Off Topic" -- I define anything directly related to Transformers as being on topic. Anything not directly related to Transformers, even if it is something that a lot of Transfans would have an interest in (e.g.: Macross), it is still technically Off Topic.

Don't worry, if your topic is severely Off Topic to the point where it offends me, I'll delete it. Otherwise I'll let the message stay and just make a quick remark about it.

I just realised that the message I posted about looking for a sharemate is also Off Topic by my definition and I don't think I put an OT in the subject heading.

*slaps self on wrist*

Well... t'was 3am when I posted that... :p :p
