I don't know if MSNBC can be believed but there are reports of mass desertions among the Taliban army and much dissension in the Taliban itself. Perhaps all we need to do is keep forming these alliances, totally isolate the Taliban and they will do the rest. Can we keep the discipline? I have to admit, much as I hate to, the Bush team, especially Powell seem to be working in a very thorough low-key yet determined manner. But I fear what this president with 90% approval rating will be able to do. We don't need terrorists to lose our freedom, it most likely will happen from within, with crowds cheering it on.
