Why do we seek the most complicated, conspiratorial reasons for things, when a very simple, open explanation is much more likely? Brings to mind the VonDanniken approach to reality (Cufflinks of the Gods, etc.) � goes at great length to explain markings in the (Brazilian?) plains as �landing fields� for �alien spaceships� � when the simpler explanation is the great imagination of human beings, making marks in the dirt to say �I was HERE!�" on 10:35:09 08/10/01 Fri
