Sung at an Arlo Guthrie concert last night,at the Hog farm place in Calif.

Don't start with me about Euros invading and oppressing.) The FEELING Arlo, and Woody, created among our group--of ex-NOW hippie radicals (grey hair) and youth and diverse folk,SEVA,civil rights,etc--just like the not-so-old days was:

Hope,spirit,alive. Make it our own . Sing loud and clear,like he said to do on the chorus of "Alice's Restaurant." Just wait..for the song to come around again.

Under a winged tent stage,backlit by sun through the black oaks. Lift-off and real Love. Arlo's mellow and real;never sold out.
Much great jesting from him and Wavy gravy--of Ben and Jerry's fame! (Much of that around to scarf--all proceeds to his camp kids.) Crack-ups about Bush,like "We had to fight against a war before, now it's for AIR and WATER?! Oh well, it's something to do"

Very LIGHT, and powerful as ever.The people rising up..

I hope so - if only to wake up and bring things to our attention. This time around tho, lets do without the drugs, or anything that interferes with thinking. - Dorene is Arlo still with that guru woman, very large impressive gal with wild black hair and wears a third eye and talks with a Brooklyn/Bronx accent? I used to see them on the public access channel, really liked her energy even if I couldn't always swing with everything she said. Anyway sounds like a great time was had by all.
