Lacey had Spencer working like a dream beneath her, his paces spot on, his pace steady and collected between fences. She came around at a particularly nasty triple, an oxer leading into two parrallels but she kept him on task and focused and balanced throughout the combination, giving him a swit stroke as she set him up for the final fence. Eliza had a habit of presenting her with the most unapproachable fences so she wouldnt be suprised in the ring. She could feel Spencer backing off her leg a little, but a murmer in his ear and another strong coupled with her legs was all he needed to get him over the fence with perfect style and composure. She cantered a circle and brought him back to trot, and finally a walk as she brought him to halt by Eliza. -- The Lowell Residence

A look of sheer pride crossed over his features as he took his attention away from Hailey for a moment to watch Lacey execute a difficult combination, and then back with his 'small smile' spread into a large one that cracked his face nearly in two. "That... is my girlfriend, Lacey." Pride was very evident in his voice. She raised a brow at his declaration and looked the girl over, her mind already working and grinding the wheels.
