Hi, all – just checking in – had a deeply nostalgic moment yesterday afternoon as I was scanning through some unlabeled tapes in prep to transfer LFN to DVD. Somewhere post-series I started trying to retape from the first to get a second set as backup (I think I lapsed @ some point, but I sure have a lot of unlabeled tapes lying around – plus one stuck in one of my VCRs, yikes!) and sooo enneeewaaayyy I popped one in that wasn’t rewound and it was set @ the next to very last scene of the very last episode – in the train station. Next tape viewed came on virtually @ the beginning of “Love” – scene in the train station w/ real Peter and Sage. My recollection is that “Love”, although aired out of order, was actually the first episode filmed. I think it’s lovely that TPTB had the sensitivity to “bookend” the series like that.

Okay, so stupid post. I’m out of practice.

My experience was a little different. I haven't been able to catch LFN on TV for a long time, since it's on at 4:00am, but every once in a while, I pop one of my tapes in. I'd been watching one for about a week (the same one tends to get watched over and over for a while). It's the one with "All Good Things" and "Third Party Ripoff" on it.
Well, last Saturday I was up at 4 and my husband was out of town and I thought, hey, I might as well catch the show and really enjoy myself for an hour...
and what ep did they show???
You guessed it - THIRD @#$%^&*(!!! PARTY !@#@#$%^! RIPOFF.

Coincidence?... karma?... or just those guys at USA doing it to me on purpose... ;P
