How can I obtain copies of the entire LFN series on tape or DVD?

Unless you find a tape fairy, or someone who is willing to part with their home-taped episodes, you may wish to consider what is available on the retail market.

A few years ago Columbia House began to release LFN on videotape, but their process (2 eps/1 tape) was so cumbersome, and many fans had already videotaped the episodes themselves, that the demand wasn't there. C.H. just stopped its offer only partially through the first season, abandoning those who had placed orders. (Generating pretty bad feelings that it wouldn't even consider the DVD version that fans had been clamoring for!)

It took years of work by dedicated fans, but finally LFN will be released on DVD. Better quality and longer lasting than videotape, an entire season at one time rather than piece-meal, plus extra goodies not previously aired! So far, just Season 1 will become available in July 2003. I hope the demand will be so great that the following seasons will also become available.
