Subject: MIRA Charity Event 2002 in Quebec

The dates for the fundraiser, MIRA Charity Event 2002, have been set. It will be June 14th-June 16th at St. Hyacinthe, Quebec. This location was chosen due to its close proximity to Fondation MIRA.

Activities will include attendance at the Defi-Vision Race, (tickets are provided) and transportation to and from L'Autodrome on Friday, June 14th.

There will be interaction with MIRA clients and supporters, obstacle courses with guide dogs, and a tour of Fondation MIRA facilities on Saturday afternoon. A Darkness Supper will be held on Saturday evening. (Be prepared to get messy!) Attendees will eat spagetti and iceberg lettuce salad, as if they are blind.

Saturday night will have a fantastic video screening presentation. Included in the selections are: LFN dailies of Roy Dupuis as Michael, Director's cut of Hard Landing, Sortie 234, Cinema Anemique , Les Enfants de la Rue, Le Marche du couple and a very SPECIAL video being prepared specifically for this Event!!

There will be a live MIRA Charity Auction held on Sunday, June 16th. Included will be many autographed donations, as well as some "Seraphin" costume pieces that Roy wore during filming.

MIRA Charity Event 2002 is a charity fundraiser which includes many extraordinary activites. At this date, the official registration cost has not yet been set. It will be somewhere between $160 US and $175 US. We hope to have the cost finalized and announced by next Friday, February 15th.
