Subject: MIRA Charity Event 2002 Official Announcement

MIRA Charity Event 2002, a fundraiser, will be held June 14-16th in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada at the Hotel des Seigneurs. Event attendees will receive a discounted hotel room price of $101 CA for 1 to 2 occupants and $111 CA for 3 to 4 occupants. These rates apply for June 13-16, 2002.

Activities will include attendance at the Defi-Vision Race, (tickets are provided) and transportation to and from L'Autodrome on Friday, June 14th.

There will be interaction with MIRA clients, obstacle courses with guide dogs, and a tour of Fondation MIRA facilities on Saturday afternoon. A Darkness Supper will be held on Saturday evening. (Be prepared to get messy!) Attendees will eat spagetti and iceberg lettuce salad, blindfolded.

Saturday night, there will be a fantastic video screening presentation. Included in the selections are: LFN dailies of Roy Dupuis as Michael, Deleted Scenes video, Sortie 234, Cinema Anemique , Les Enfants de la Rue, Le Marche du couple. In addition, there will be a very SPECIAL video containing heretofore unseen footage of Roy Dupuis from the producers of "L'Homme et son Peche" and "Les Filles de Caleb".

There will be a live MIRA Charity Auction held on Sunday, June 16th. Included will be many autographed donations, as well as the following costume pieces from "L'Homme et Son Peche": shirt, pants and hat worn by Roy Dupuis.

EACH Event attendee will receive an autographed photograph of Roy from "L'Homme et Son Peche".

MIRA Charity Event 2002 is a charity fundraiser which includes many extraordinary activites. The total registration fees are $175 US or $265 CA. There is a $75 US or $115 CA non-refundable deposit required. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your deposit to another person. The original attendee is responsible for the transfer arrangements. The $75 deposit is due by March 15th. Full payment is due by April 30th. There will be a late payment fee of $10 US or $15 CA added to payments made from May 1-May 20. After May 20th, the late payment fee increases to $20 US or $30 CA.

Our Event website will be available for viewing on Sunday, February 17th. Registration, hotel, and Event activities will be detailed there.
