Subject: CQS4 Auction item figures

Since Joyce has posted the final totals for the CQS4 auction, I thought that I'd go ahead and mention a few choice items that came up for bid in Toronto. All prices are in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise stated--figure about 2/3 of the given price for a U.S. dollar conversion. Auctioneers at CQS4 included Don, Carlo, Lawrence, Doug MacRae, Stephen Shellen, and others.

Shirt and tie that Ops died in (with fake blood, and no, I'm not kidding!) $400
Doug MacRae's shorts, complete with a rip in the bottom $700 (~$540 U.S.) Doug tried these on...[Bidder]: "I get to take them off in front of everybody?!" [Doug]: "Whatever!" [Don]: "This is not the time to be shy!" :-)
Lawrence Bayne Bowling Shirt, autographed on the spot $200
"Hand Dance" t-shirt, autographed by Roy $300
A "Roy" clock $200 [Don]: It has Roy's picture on every hour...it tells you when to go and when to come!" ;-)
Elle Quebec Feb. '96, with the fabulous (signed) "Roy in bed" photo, $200
Carlo's hat from "All The World's A Stage" $600 (Carlo gave Don a big hug just before he left the auction.)
#508 "A Time For Every Purpose" yellow script, with two revisions $3,300 (~$2,450 U.S.) Absolutely wild bidding on this item
Large season 2 promo poster (Nikita with Michael in profile) $300
Large "male models" MIRA poster, laminated (don't want that to wear out, now do we?) $300
"Michael on a motorcycle" doll, signed by Roy (very cute--the doll, I mean...well, okay, Roy too...) $1,000
"Rescue" script, signed by Roy $500
Michael and Nikita large poster, mounted $5,000 (~3,700 U.S.) This was actually listed as "Michael and Nikita mounted large poster", which perhaps accounts for the price, lol.

More tomorrow, gang.

Susan W.

[> [> These are from CQS4, Sherry--when Joyce posted the final figures, it reminded me of my one piece of unfinished business from last May. Shirley will have to give us the scoop on LCA. :-) -- sw, 22:53:10 10/22/01 Mon

[> [> [> Yes, I'm back from LCA and I'll be giving you all the details in the next few days... but right now someone's coming to see the house (we're trying to sell it) and I've been gone for 4 days and I have cats that shed. HOUSEKEEPING!!! (:0 -- Shirleym, 13:04:57 10/23/01 Tue
