Subject: Seraphin Raffle Update :)

To date, the Seraphin Raffle has raised a total of $7,080 CA for Fondation MIRA. Many, many thanks to all the participants!!

My 2nd and 3rd grade students are especially excited about the progress of the Raffle. As part of my curriculum each year, we discuss what it means to be a part of a community and helping other people. In particular, we explore charities that involve children or animals, such as
MIRA. We talk alot about people with disabilities and strategies for dealing with them. They are eagerly awaiting the drawing on December 4th because they will be assisting with the process. Each of the children will take
turns mixing the receipts in the container before the drawing.

The votes thus far are: 26 votes for "2 separate winners" and 16 votes for "1 winner who invites a guest".

A reminder for those that still wish to participate in the Seraphin Raffle: the last date for receipt of funds is December 3rd. The winner or winners, will be announced during the evening of December 4th.
