I liked it...thumbs up to Bob Cochran and Joel Surnow. Thought it was intelligent and I liked the weaving of all of the story lines. Great acting by the lead male (so sorry, his name has totally escaped me...and I should know it...my old age is showing). But I have a really dumb concern: if the whole season spans just 24 hours, how many wardrobe changes can there be??? Would love to know how the person in charge of costumes handled this unusual challenge.

[> [> This weeks TV Guide with Kiefer Sutherland (the guy whose name you can't think of ) on the cover has an article on the series. It says that one of the actresses was hired at the last minute so she wore her own clothes and now is stuck wearing them for every episode. -- Trish, 14:02:59 11/07/01 Wed

[> [> [> [> [> [> I so enjoyed the show too. IMO, it wins over the other new shows *hands down*. I love everything about it except that annoying daughter, who they're welcome to kill off next week. >:) Hey! they did it to Birkoff and we LOVED him. Hearing Sean and Blaine's music again is like soaking in a hot tub. {{{ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...}}} Also thought KS is great in the role. MutantX really had my attention until they started getting into the characters. Yuk, pOOOeyyyyy. -- Shirleym, 18:45:01 11/09/01 Fri

[> [> [> [> [> OK. The actress Sarah Clarke who plays Nina Myers went straight from her audition to filming the first episode. The navy blue shirt she wears is her blue shirt, she thinks of it now as her uniform. (And funny, in the picture right next to that sentence in the print TV guide it looks dark GREEN) The actress who plays the daughter says It's like being on the Simpsons, looking the same every week. -- Trish, 19:58:07 11/10/01 Sat

[> Re: 24 -- Babe, 00:10:20 11/20/01 Tue

I never liked Kiefer Sutherland until this series. He has really matured and in my book is carrying the show almost all by himself. I can't help comparing the women in the cast with Peta and Alberta and they fall short IMHO. Like someone said earlier, I wouldn't be upset if the daughter disappeared, either. There are too many stories going on at once for my taste. It makes the series seem like a soap opera. "Will Nina get cancelled for being a mole, or will they keep her on because she had an affair with Jack???" (that kind of thing). What's with that other girl's dad going around with Jack's wife, trying to find the girls. Will he fall in love with Jack's wife? More soap? I read here, or on Chloe's site (I think) that Jon Cassar said at LCA he would be doing some directing after the first 13 eps are done. Wouldn't it be nice if M. Loceff wrote a great ep, or two that just cried for RD to do and they persuaded him to do it. He will be done filming Seraphin in Jan. Do you think all of the 24 hrs have got scripts already? I can dream can't I. I'll be 76 tomorrow and I can say anything I want to. Can't I ShirleyW? Humm can't I?

[> [> Hi Babe! I totally agree about KS... never liked his acting till this series either, but he's doing a great job. As for Michael Loceff, I think he actually did write the last acript (#3) and I'd LOVE to see RD in the show too. %P~~~~~ And yes, you can say ANYTHING you want at 76! LOL Happy Birthday, hon!!! -- Shirleym, 11:22:02 11/23/01 Fri
