Subject: Another of the good guys gone ...

May I take a rare moment to go OT? Just a word for George Harrison - one of the good guys.

I was saddened to hear of George Harrison's death also. I am 23, but my mom grew up listening to the Beatles, and I listened to some of her old records. I also really like the 80's hit done by George Harrison, "I got my mind set on you." That is one of my favorite songs from the 80's era. I was hoping he would beat his cancer. At least he led a good and happy life.

[> There's nothing OT here anymore, viv. I was so taken by that boy when I was 11. He looked great in a black turtleneck, and you could see the depth of his spirit through his eyes, even at that young age (he must have been all of 22). What a shame to see the good ones go. -- Shirleym, 11:12:58 12/05/01 Wed

[> Viv, the board is probably mostly OT these days, and that's okay! George was always my favorite Beatle. All the other girls liked Paul, but George was my man. Only two now with any hope of seeing age 64. -- Susan W, 22:14:59 12/08/01 Sat
