Subject: Official Guidelines of the "Seraphin" Raffle

1. This is a Raffle for a location set visit to the filming of "Seraphin".
2. The exact date of the visit will be determined by the studio. It will occur sometime between late January to early February. The winners will be given at least 3 weeks notice,
prior to the actual date, in order to make travel arrangements.
3. There will be two independent winners chosen at random from all Raffle ticket receipts. Both winners will visit the location set on the same day. They will be accompanied by Pierre Noiseux of Fondation Mira.
4. This system was chosen because Pierre wants to maximize chances for each participant. Two winners means two chances to win.
5. As the studio is only allowing two visitors, winners will not be allowed to bring additional guests.
6. The location set visit is for “passive” viewing of the filming. Instructions by the filming crew and staff are to be followed explicitly.
7. There is no guarantee that the winners will meet or talk with Roy Dupuis. (We certainly hope that they do have that opportunity.)
8. Raffle tickets are $20 US or $30 CA each. Payment can be made with personal checks, money orders or by credit card. If payment is made through PayPal, there is a service charge.
9. To purchase tickets, please email me first at: MiraCharity@aol.com
10. Any check or money order payment MUST be received by December 3rd, 2001. If mail is received after December 3rd, you will not qualify for the Raffle and your mail will be returned unopened. Neither Joyce Wolf, Pierre Noixseux nor Fondation Mira assume any responsibility for the promptness of mail delivery, and can not be held liable. Mail early to avoid worrying.
11. Credit card payments are accepted in the following two ways:
A. Via PayPal, which charges 2.9% of the total and 30 cents per transaction. It is rather complicated so you will need an exact amount, per your ticket purchase, from me.
B. Via telephone to me, whereby your purchase can be made without a service charge.
Credit card payments are due by 9PM PST on Monday, December 3, 2001.
13. On Tuesday, December 4, 2001, all Raffle ticket receipts will be placed in a container, mixed and then remixed. One receipt will be drawn by me, Joyce Wolf, thus producing the first winner. The remaining tickets will be mixed again. Then a second receipt will be drawn by me, producing the second winner.
14. The winners will be announced on December 4, 2001 via email, mailing lists and message boards.
15. All decisions by the governing board, which is comprised of Joyce Wolf and Pierre Noiseux, are final. By participating in this Raffle, you agree in full to the above conditions.

Since there is a good bit of time before December, if the checks are mailed to you now, will these earlier checks be forwarded to Mira before the December?
