Subject: CQS4 LFN Charity Auction Results

Dear LFN Fans,
There have been a few requests for an update detailing the results of the CQS4 LFN Charity Auction. I am extremely pleased to announce that we raised a total of $91,267.00 Canadian. This was our most successful event to date.
Of the grand total, 10% was allotted for Administrative costs such as the printing of auction receipts and programs, shipping of donations to and from Canada, and auction room rental. The 90% totaled $82,140.60 (CA).
Following are the amounts that have been paid to the charities:

$5,653.23 Canada Tibet Committee--Don Francks
$3,399.25 Make-A-Wish Foundation--Eugene Glazer
$2,895.32 MS Society of Canada--Matthew Ferguson
$2,793.40 Toronto Wildlife Centre--Alberta Watson
$4,544.42 Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation--Carlo Rota
$1,244.25 Amnesty International--Josh Holliday and Lindsay Collins
$6,313.50 Children's Wish Foundation--K. Douglas MacRae
$2,772.00 ECPAT-USA, Inc.--Lawrence Bayne
$2,916.00 Greenpeace--Douglas O'Keeffe
$742.50 American Cancer Society--Mechella (artist)
$463.50 V-Day--Cindy Dolenc
$82,140.60 Total
In addition, the subsequent LFN Online Charity Auction raised $10,499.00 Canadian for some of the actors' charities. Following are the amounts that were paid from that fundraiser:

Thus a grand total of $92,639.60 Canadian was raised for the various charities of choice for the actors of LFN.

My sincerest gratitude to Peta Wison, Roy Dupuis, Alberta Watson, Matthew Ferguson, Eugene Glazer, Cindy Dolenc and Mechella for their time and graciousness in signing items. In addition, I wish to sincerely thank all the generous item donors, the winning bidders, and the CQS4 Charity Auction Committee.
