Been catching the Witchblade eps as much as possible to catch a glimpse of Ops perch and to see how they've reworked other LFN things. Did anyone else see last night's season finale? Wow...I wish the writers would have done that for LFN! Would have taken care of a lot of corners that they wrote themselves into. TNT will be pulling another LFN copycat, IMHO, by showing all 12 Witchblade eps in a row on Sunday. I haven't been taken in by this show like I was by LFN, but it is an interesting diversion.

[> PJ, I agree--it's no LFN, but there's something compelling about it nonetheless. Last night's season ender was wild and interesting. It leaves all sorts of possibilities open for next season. (r, spoilers for the finale) -- Susan W, 12:04:53 08/22/01 Wed

When the guys all died, one by one, I was incredulous--why would a show paint itself into a corner like that? I guess that I should have seen the ending coming. What I really liked is that the writers took care to foretell this in an earlier episode--the clues were there if you were alert to them.

I have mixed feelings about Yancy--I realize that a strong lead is needed, but she strikes me as being rather too harsh at times. I do like all of the men--and it hit me last night that this whole series is like a female fantasy--she is absolutely surrounded by cute guys who are devoted to her.

As for settings and locales--the stadium where that tall dark guy in black was standing (it looked like a flashback, and sorry, I tend to blank on all of their names!)--it looked like the same stadium used in "Escape" on the west side of town. And that bunker that the old guy lives in--has the outside of that been used in any LFN eps?

[> [> Oh, yeah...ITA with you on everything. Yancy really does seem harsh for the part, but maybe if there's a second season, she will be able to "sand the rough edges." I'm horrible with names and locations, but I really thought I saw a couple of LFN locations...especially the one with the two doors. -- PJ, 14:09:04 08/22/01 Wed

that would be the 1st Ian shown in the movie/series.

of course...you know what i mean by that: Ian #2 was the dangerous 'evil' fella that 'got it in the end'...
