Subject: Toronto Film Festival - Films with LFN Cast

C&P from a post I wrote on my board... I may have missed some, this is not meant to be perfectly complete, just what I could find tonight. These screenings are open to the public, so if you're in Toronto or want to visit you can definitely see these movies!

One of Alberta's films, The Art of Woo, is debuting at the festival. The public screening times and locations on that are:

Sunday, September 09 07:15 PM UPTOWN 3
Wednesday, September 12 01:15 PM CUMBERLAND 2

-------------------------------------------------------

On Their Knees

Tuesday, September 11 07:30 PM ROYAL ONTARIO MUSEUM
Thursday, September 13 11:15 AM ROYAL ONTARIO MUSEUM

Anais Granofsky (Carla), Ingrid Veninger (Siobhan), Julian Richings (Sparks), Maury Chaykin (Rudy) and Carlo Rota are all in this one. Anais directs.

-------------------------------------------------------

I Shout Love (Short)

Saturday, September 08 06:00 PM ROYAL ONTARIO MUSEUM
Sunday, September 09 08:00 PM VARSITY 7

I saw a blurb on MovieTV about this one and it stars Matthew Ferguson as a man trying to convince his obsessed ex-girlfriend to let him be. It's also directed and written by the terrific Sarah Polley who you guys will remember from The Sweet Hereafter.

-------------------------------------------------------

L' Âge des images III: Comment filmer Dieu
Sunday, September 09 06:00 PM VARSITY 7
Saturday, September 15 01:15 PM VARSITY 7

Not really a short or a feature, lol...52 minutes, and starring Carlo Rota!

You can order tickets online by clicking here:

That site also has more details including summaries of each film.

[> [> It's tempermental--I've had troubles sometimes with it, too. Thanks for posting these, Cathy. I'd love to make it up there for the film festival one of these years. -- Susan W, 22:24:34 08/29/01 Wed

[> [> [> I've also found that if you want to use HTML, it's best to hit the "Post a new message" link at the top of the board as opposed to scrolling down to the bottom of the board--go figure. -- sw, 22:33:36 08/29/01 Wed

[> [> [> [> Susan, you may want to contact Voy's Tech support to see if they can fix the bug. From what I've heard Voy's Tech Support actually responds to inquiries in a timely manner unlike ITW from whom you'd be lucky to get automatic response, let alone any useful info. -- Schnee, 07:16:16 08/30/01 Thu
