The article was discussed at the forum of "Ogonek" readers. I just found two issues of this magazine where it had been published.

I wonder why it hasn't been translated yet.

Maybe nobody wants to do it because only few people are interested. Fischer's interviews and his book "I was tortured in the Pasadena jailhouse!" hasn't been translated yet too.

It is curious that Ostrovsky wrote in his novel that the president of FIDE on the one hand was utterly tired from sallies of Angler and on the other hand from the pressure of Russians. Thus he found himself in the situation of the main character of one short story by Chekhov and acted in the same way, getting rid of the main reason of troubles.
