A good game of Acro is hard to find, not only in the USA, but anywhere on the planet earth these days. But we still manage to get in a few games each week, either previously organized or spur of the moment. We usually grab people on icq, but you never have that on, heh. Christmas holiday and summer season are traditionally the slowest times for Acro, even in the best of times, as people are busy with outdoor or holiday activities.

I will be adding stuff to the June calendar this weekend.
So, stay tuned for more scheduled play to come.

There is not a threat of war, we already are at war. And the world seems to be in store for more war, unfortunately )c: It is going to be a long haul to rid the world of terrorists and for countries and religions to realize that democracy and freedom will strengthen, not weaken them.

The economy, in my opinion, is beginning to recover from the damage done during the Clinton years (I know I'm getting your goat here, heh) and the societal shock from 9/11. My phone is ringing again with calls from headhunters for the first in over a year (yay!). And, to me, what makes government in the USA disfunctional is the dang two major party system and all the political posturing that goes along with it. Yes, it keeps a degree of balance, but it also can make us ineffective; and, at a time when we're at war, it can be downright distasteful, disrespectful and disgusting.

I wonder how long this string will get now?
