For relaxing a bit...aroma thereapy can help some. You have probably already done some of it without realizng it. Citris scented bodywash for a candle light bath...is one. I use Lavender if it's near bedtime to aide with peaceful sleep; and a citris like lemmon/oarnge or generic citris type when I need peaceful energy, however different scents may do better for you. Also, what colors do you surround yourself with? Light greens, purples, can help.
If the weather is nice, get out in it. Even if it's only five to fifteen minutes, this can help. Today I neede to relax. I went outside in bare feet and walked in the grass for awhile. Got closer to nature, listened to the birds in the area and just soaked it in, letting what's on my mind slip away into the ground.
These ones above, are some examples of praticing wicca, but not all wiccans do these. As far as a basic outline...Oh my. I have a couple different ones and what I use depends on 1. the situation 2. who all is involved and 3 the tools on hand. I do agree with all Dreemy has said!:)
How do spells work? There is a need or want, mixed with intent, given energy, sent to the universe with a vision of harmony, prosperity or for whatever reason your doing it. The energy and vibrations thereof are sent to the univers and from there can come back and manifest itself in our lives. I hope this dosnt confuse anyone. If anyone can describe it better...feel free to do so.
