Dreams are symbolic for the most part...sure we sometimes dream that something happens differently, like wishful thinking or wishing that reality was different, or dreaming out our fears or worst case senarios...but it sounds like the dream about the people in the store was about people all around you literally getting "cut off at the knees" and from behind their back. I'll let you figure out how and if that applies.

Winterwolf is right about the gory nature being able to be delt with by using dream catchers, protection oil, etc. Make up a little bag of protection/peace herbs and put it inside your pillowcase on the underside of your pillow, and/or put a drop of protection oil on your forehead before going to sleep.

Thanks for not going into more graphic detail here on the forum on your more hideous dreams since we want kids to be able to safely use the site here without their parents thinking we are not a kid-friendly site.

I read your newsy post and am so happy for you that your marriage is a good one and that you are moving forward and healing. perhaps some of the dream stuff is just regurgitation of your past as well. Maybe a renewal and releasing of the past type of ritual is in order?
