Well,I really didn't think Cowardly's request was that far out of line, it *was* respectfully stated, most of the responses were too. But since we have 3 seperate threads going on the subject of swearing,and that's not the topic of this board- I've considered pulling the all posts for that reason. Everybody had their say, after all.

So I'll probably pull all the swearing posts off- if people still want to discuss it, hey- I can always create a "should people swear board" But Cowardly was respectful in their request- so I have to stick up for him/her in that respect.


So boys and girls- if the main subject of your post is swearing- it's coming off- ya had your say- time to get back on topic.

You aren't Satan (I don't think). *S* Althought how you have touched my emotions could be considered satanic.

Unfortunately, the only way to get the attention to the people you are speaking to today is to put in a few choice expletive deleted's. It's the old story of beating the mule on the head with a 2" x 4" to get his attention. They hear nothing until you start spewing a few expletives, then you have their attention.

You need to be true to yourself, and express yourself how you see fit. If anyone takes offense to your expression of your emotions, then caveat emptor (let the buyer beware!). You can not possibly please everyone out there, unless you have Superan tights that you are willing to wear daily. If you chose to don those Superman tights, 9/10 of your songs would never have been recorded for fear of offending someone out there. Please keep your emotions raw and close to the surface as you have for all these years. No matter if you spew occassionally. Don't we all spew and vent our rage? Geesh...as if we haven't all said "fuck" sometime in our lives.

If someone takes offense to your language, then they need to look within themselves, as we can ONLY control ourselves and no one else. If their children are being rude, they have to look within to the fact that they are accepting this behaviour, and not to the outside influences. There will always be outside influences on children, but a strong parental influence overcomes this, and teaches children right from wrong.

BC. please don't change. You expressed your emotions, and if some people aren't adult enough to deal with it, that is their problem, and not yours.
