A whoosh of air involuntarily escapes the he-wolf's lungs as Silver Mist accepts him. His brow crinkles, somewhat embarassed. He hadn't even realized he'd been holding his breath. The muscles between his shoulder blades relax as he slowly raises his head revealing a half-smile at the alpha's nip. His tail wags briefly causing the small flora below it to tremble and sway. He backs up to get her into a better view. "I should have never left." A hint of regret sneaks into his voice. He notes the firm use of "friend" and nods to himself. That was more than he hoped. He was glad she still counted him one for she had always been his dearest and really only true friend he'd ever had. "You have never been far from my thoughts." As he nudges her in return her familiar scent penetrates his lungs. He winces and pulls back again only slightly farther this time. "So tell me friend...have these years treated you kindly?"
