The way Hoop Scoop ranks the recruiting classes is moronic. They simply rate all the players from 1-10 and then add them up. Whatever school has the highest total is rated as having the top recruiting class.

For example: One school signs the top 3 players in the entire country, all rated as a "10" by Hoop Scoop. Another school brings in 6 really mediocre players who all have ratings of "5". According to Hoop Scoop, these recruiting classes are equal, both with a total rating of 30.

What a joke!
