Brewster 104, Phillips Andover 86 (January 15)

The boys varsity basketball team defeated Phillips Andover. Junior Norman Plummer (Fairfield, Ohio) led the way with 29 points and 8 rebounds. Senior Mike Pilgrim (Cincinnati) added 20 points and 9 rebounds for the Bobcats. Postgraduate Frank Gilroy (North Bellmore, N.Y.) chipped in 19 points, including five 3-pointers.

Brewster 74, Winchendon 79 (January 13)

The boys' varsity basketball team lost to an outstanding Winchendon School team. Brewster was led by senior Mike Pilgrim (Cincinnati) with 20 points. Blake Schilb (Rantoul, Illinois) added 19 points for the Bobcats, including five 3-pointers. Norman Plummer (Fairfield, Ohio) chipped in 15 points for Brewster. Winchendon was led by Iowa State-bound Curtis Stinson with 22 points and Miami-bound Karron Clarke with 19.

Brewster 105, Cushing 58 (January 11)

The boys' varsity basketball team defeated Cushing Academy 105-58. Brewster was led by junior Norman Plummer (Fairfield, Ohio) with 35 points. Blake Schilb (Rantoul, Illinois) added 16 points in the victory. All nine Brewster players scored.

Brewster 95, Phillips Exeter 76 (January 8)

After a 20-day layoff for the holidays, the boys varsity basketball team returned to action on Wednesday and defeated a solid Phillips Exeter squad 95-76. Junior Norman Plummer (Fairfield, Ohio) continued his torrid play by scoring 39 points in the victory. Michael Pilgrim (Cincinnati) added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Bobcats while junior Deion James (Milwaukee) chipped in 11 points
