Subject: Whites grades are in the crapper
In reply to: Chatter 's message, "Syracuse? Ever heard of Carmelo Anthony?.....IU has alot of good young players there now and coming in.......and Mizzou isn't at the same level as UC in terms of talent right now. Talk about the path of least resistance to play and chances to make a national impact on the polls........UC is the place. Stokes completes his eligibility, who is White going to compete with......Kirkland? I think White can beat Kirkland out, no disrespect o Armein, but White was a top 10 player in his class. Plus, it's not like he hasn't played bigtime college basketball before. I never understand these situations that seem like a no-brainer. Plus, I read where UC's quarter system makes it easier than most schools for White to catch up on his academics. Can you say, "No-brainer"???? I hope White sees the Light." on 16:06:41 11/19/02 Tue

He needs a load of credit hours to qualify for next season.UC's quater system allows for a chance to earn more credit hours but White has a long road to qualify.Im told he was on academic probation at Florida

  • Why is it always a no-brainer for kids to come to UC? -- Eggsavier, 16:55:12 11/19/02 Tue
  • UC should win easily on James White -- bearcatattack, 19:43:19 11/19/02 Tue
  • I have said it's a no-brainer in regard to big men and now James White because historically the last few years we have been seriously lacking in future guys over 6'9" and a kid could come here and almost play right away. Same goes for White....I think there's a huge opening for a former top 10 player to start at UC. Just my opinion. Obviously not popular with you. (NT) -- Chatter, 20:55:22 11/19/02 Tue
