As early as Feb. bearcatattack was saying he would commit any day now. I think things have changed. from what I hear and putting some pieces of the puzzle together, i think UC has backed off him for a little bit. I have seen him play quite a few times and he don't really look like an imediate impact player. Not to say he won't ever be. There is always players that want to come to UC. But Huggs seems to go after the biggest fish first and then work his way down the list. I think this is the case with Matt.

Time to Move On? A 16 year old kid who hasn't even started his Junior Year Season hasn't verballed yet and it's time to move on? Adopt a deadline and move on? If they don't commite before they turn 17, move on. Plenty of Names that are rated ahead of him? WOW. It is Funny and Sad how posters turn sour on kids when they have NO IDEA what is going on behind the scenes. Let's think about this. Those "time to move on" comments are a direct result of UC missing out on all of these "top recruits" we all expected to get.....like Shannon Brown, Corey Gibbs, Shawn Taylor, Tack Minor, Brandon Bass, etc......all were supposedly a "lock" for UC.....and look what happened. Now we get mad if a kid doesn't verbal by the time they're 14 years old......we need them locked up or we give up on the situation. Give it time....things will be fine.
