If the remark is serious, he's a selfish player and we don't need him. The two most recent UC greats, Kenyon Martin and Steve Logan, didn't become First Team All-Americans by being selfish.....and neither will Jason Maxiell. If all Bass is interested in is himself, then he can go elsewhere. Nobody ever wins by themself, they need a good supporting cast. He ought to look at next year's lineup at UC and consider his supporting cast - Maxiell, Bobbitt, F. Williams, N. Williams, Whaley, Flowers, K. Johnson, Hicks, Kirkland, Moore, etc. Lance Williams and Bobby Simmons went to DePaul with the promise to "play 35 minutes a game" and look what it did for them. I don't think all of those schools are being honest about guaranteed playing time. Only the pathetic schools do that and UC is not pathetic. Bass may turn out to be another talented guy that took the easy road and ended up being less than his talent suggested.
