You read what you actually expect to see and I hadn't even realised that you had put sory instead of story. The human brain is a very wonderful creation but can fool you if you're not careful. I don't often read through what I have typed, especially reports at work, because I see what I thought I had typed and not necessarily what I actually typed, plus the fact that I'm typing medical terms and drug names that I don't know how to spell anyway so I leave my lot to sort it out and then do the alerations. What I do do is correct their English as far as I am able (or allowed! It does get my knickers in a twist to have to send out reports knowing that they are grammatically incorrect because some little chit of a girl is so sure she knows better than I do and she doesn't understand about apostrophes and where they should and shouldn't go, or why Achilles should have a capital A) but that's me on my high horse so I'll stop there.

Gilly
