I don't think it's the kind of work women want to do anyway.
I'm all for equality but when it comes to your kind of work in the heat or working under the bonnet of my car, I'm more than happy to let you be more equal than me. Lol
I was even happier in the days when the wee man at the service station used to fill your car up with petrol and you never had to worry about hands smelling of petrol fumes, now I have to do all that. Clean the windows, check the oil, power steering fluid, reservoir for the wipers, the list goes on and on. I take it to the same mechanic for a service and we UNDERSTAND each other now. He says I caused his recent heart attack but it turns out it was from his mother's side of the family. He's now instructed his dad to choose his women more carefully next time. Triple bypass and he's in his early forties. I told him I think his smoking 40 fags a day could be part of it but he didn't want to hear it. Yeah yeah, mutter mutter, chuckle chuckle. Nice guy though.
Where would we be without you guys? When he works on my car if I can't get it someone to pick me up, he collects it, leaves me his and brings mine back when he's finished. My kind of mechanic and his blood's worth bottling.
