A little prayer as well please for my friend, Von, who I have known for over 50 years, and who is separated by thousands of miles from her daughter. She fell on the ice this morning and broke her shoulder and her wrist. She was going up to London this afternoon to spend a few days at a crisis centre helping to look after those less fortunate, and now she is the one who needs looking after. Fortunately she has good neighbours (and thank God for good neighbours, they seem to be getting fewer and further inbetween)and hopefully she will be able to come up here to stay once the dreadful weather has cleared and if she has someone to look after her cats, but the forecast is too bad to be driving all that way at the moment, the roads are still icey and it is forecast for at least -1 tonight.

Take care Margaret, and your friend is in all our hearts at this time.
