I agree with your thoughts on the end of the world.
My wife and I joined a Lawn Bowling club this season, I played a couple of games with my brother in Scotland but this is my first time joining a club, our season is just starting and May has been one wet month seems like we had rain nearly every day, I have had three games so far, finding it harder to adjust to the speed of the green than the speed of the ice when I am curling, but I’ve been curling for over twenty years.
