Yes Gilly, my Jag is the one I enthused over when I bought it five years ago. After we returned from Belgium I managed quite happily without a car for six months then succumbed to temptation. I went for the Jag because my dad never had a car (never learned to drive!) but he said that if he could choose a car it would be a Jag. Mind you he was probably thinking of Jags from the 1960s whereas mine is from the days when Ford owned the company and is a variation of the Mondeo. It came with the leaping cat on the bonnet though! My sons say it's a grandad's car (appropriately enough) but they love to drive it.

The leaping cat got wrenched from the bonnet last year by some thieving bastard and I replaced it with a flat Jaguar badge. Less nickable but not as thrilling.

What I'd really like is Inspector Morse's burgundy Jag. Like fine wine on wheels.
