Sad start to my NY, my dear friend Eve succumbed to the breast cancer that has been haunting her for almost 13 years. She fought a brave fight and if you didn't know her you wouldn't have known she had it. The past five weeks she went downhill extremely quickly. It was pretty horrific to see what this disease did to her body in such a short time. Refused pain meds all the way, wanted to keep her mind sharp and she did. Funeral on Friday.

RIP Evie, we'll all miss you.
