Many years ago when I worked during the school holidays at a boarding house in Prestwick, the lady there used to rent out rooms to American families as there was an Airbase at Prestwick at that time. My sister did dining room duties and made the beds and got to do the spuds and help in the kitchen. The lady who cooked used to do all the eggs in one frypan and as Edie said just spooned the oil / dripping over the eggs and they were clean too but not like this lady. She also used a lid so no turning required. This way ulike mine they don't get burned around the edges or caught up in the bacon or sausages. I'm lazy and do them all in the one frypan.
