I've had caravan holidays in Prestatyn and New Quay Gilly. One of the things I remember about the latter is watching the dolphins in the bay.

My grandad was born in Blantyre. It's a bit of a wonder that I know this since my great-grandad seemed to be resentful of authority and didn't register half of his large brood. He also gave different surnames on three consecutive censuses. I wonder what he would think of me getting a temporary job with the 2011 census; 15 hours a week for four weeks.

What do you remember of Blantyre? A village near Windsor and Blantyre would be perfect as a typical "compare and contrast" topic for a history or geography essay at school.
