I think the run of this string is absolutely great. I do like to read of men cooking. I know there are loads of male chefs, but it's lovely to read of ordinary men taking on the cooking side of things. I have a couple of friends from school whose husbands do the bulk of the cooking, with the women making cakes and the odd pud and the men are doing it because they are now retired and have finally got the time to spend in the kitchen and just love cooking. Hurray for men in the kitchen, especially when they produce delectable goodies (and as long as they don't leave all the washing up to their wives!)
