I haven’t been following the BB for a long long while, but Dave played a little trick on some of us on Facebook, and I checked in to see if he had done the same on here.

Firstly I am not shuggie. I would not post under another pseudonym on this site. I have now read some of the earlier posts but do not want to comment on them.

My thoughts as requested:

I have read the details of Monica’s experiences, but there are a couple of things that have struck me.

I am assuming that the track suit pants and the frock must have been some sort of swimming apparel (The long shift and trousers being a variation of the style worn by Western women in the late 1890’s early 1900’s). If she was wearing street clothes it should have been reported immediately for health reason. But I don't think anyone should complain, just because a style is considered unfashionable. Western women do wear towels wrapped around their heads and oil and cream on their faces when they are in the spa; I do not think this raises many concerns in general.

Was the spa a mixed spa, or women only? . If it was women only he definitely should not have been there. Usually the spas I have been to in gyms are mixed both men and woman bathing together. If he had been in the water bathing with his wife would that have been better for Monica? Don’t Western couples have spas together? Do other partners or husbands stand around and talk to their partners when they are in the spa? Would a Western man watching his wife in the same way make Monica feel uncomfortable?

As Monica is voluptuous she may have many men ogling her, but I think it’s definitely a gender thing - men ogle beautiful women. If it had been a Western man standing there doing the same thing, hands in pockets ogling etc would she have felt as uncomfortable – would she have reported him to the staff. If she answers yes, then to my way of thinking she is a racist, as she acted differently towards the Middle Eastern man and did not report him. If she answers no then she treated both the Middle Eastern man and the Western man equally, and in my mind should not be seen as a racist.
