Well, see, its a couple of things. For one Angel doesn't come to this conclusion on his own. Fred who isn't familiar with Angel and Cordelia on any long term fashion does it for him and from there he begins to follow what Fred says. When he first looks at Cordelia he has this confused look on his face as if he's trying to figure out his feelings.

I just don't get a romantic vibe but I think we'll get an answer sooner or later, probably in Tim's episode. DB also did a radio interview today in which he mentioned C/A wasn't happening.

We'll see, but I just don't get the feeling the writers are going in the C/A romantic direction. I honestly think that Angel has never experienced platonic love for a female friend and because of that he's confusing his feelings.

Exactly!

There's a lot of torment there for the both of them. There's a point where they can't stand each other b/c of so much that's happened in the past, but when it comes down to it they truly are equals in my mind. Tonight, they fight at a standstill. The one thing I like about their relationship is that Darla tells Angel like it is no matter if what he did hurt her feelings or not.

I have to confess that I was glad Darla bit Cordelia because what Cordelia did was *stupid.* I mean I can understand being understanding for Darla's situation, but she left herself *alone* with a soulless vamp. It was even stupider that the guys left her alone with Darla.

I know, I know Buffy/Angelverse Vamps

I think there will more loopholes to come.

Yep, she's soulless and she was going out of her mind. She truly wanted to die tonight. I just wish the episode came from more of her point of view.

>Am I crazy or just way too Darla sympathetic?

Nah, you're just a Darla lover like us all.

:)
