Although we have malay blood, we mostly have negrito blood which is aboriginal (like the pygmies from Australia). Also, we have Indian blood. Our culture is mostly Indian, as well as the ancient alibata (alphabet). Filipinos are not Chinese unless they specifically have Chinese ancestors, which are only a few Filipinos. Why do you think our eyes are huge and we are usually short and dark. If our hair is straight and our skin is lighter it is usually due to Spanish or Malay influence. Malays in themselves cannot be generalized as well since some Malays have Mongoloid blood with Caucasian affinity or they are closer to "looks and appearance" as Indians do (from India).
