Subject: Anti-Posting
I would just like to say how much I dislike posting to forums, though I quite like reading posts.
If you are of a similar view, or perhaps you like posting, but dislike reading posts, then now is the time to say so.
Reginald

Well, I don't mind posting and I don't mind reading, but I don't like filling out blue coloured forms. In fact I won't do it.

Stop. Stop right there.
This is a forum for a better class of people.
People who go to the ballet and mix french in with their conversation.
People who laugh and sing, and who don't have to work.
People who won't shirk from having to make hard decisions like should i have the soup or the pheasant?
We are those people. Let us not dirty ourselves in gutter talk of jobs and work. Let us elevate ourselves to talk of higher ideals of whether 12:30 is too early for lunch, or is Sunday really a rest day, or is it OK to drag oneself out for a sauna, spa and massage?
Are you one of us?

Re: Anti-Posting -- Lord Widerbottom (Idle and wealthy, as suits my station in life!),

Well I am outraged as I have just mentioned to Jenkins my butler, here I was being hand fed soup and pheasant while he reads the posts to me in a soothing voice.
Rangela Ruxbottom III is correct in asserting that the class of people here has slipped in recent months. It the likes of Mr. Bramble and his ilk who drag this forum down into the gutter, imagine "filling out blue coloured forms" hasn’t he got a person on retainer for that sort of thing? Probably uses a retractable ball-point pen at that! Let me assure you kind and gentle people I would not let any form’s be filled out with anything less than the hand carved 17th century Ivory quill I received for my eighteenth birthday as a gift from the Queen Mother.

Well let me add my outrage, what’s all this talk about blue coloured forms! Many people like blue coloured forms, in test after test nine out of ten preferred blue coloured forms to any other colour form proffered. Let those other form makers produce their inferior white, pink or green forms we here at Blue Coloured Forms Ltd. are committed to the advancement of the modern form and will continue to forge ahead.

PS- As for you, you high and mighty Lord. We threw out the forms you sent as the instructions specifically said to either fill out with a number 2 pencil or black ball-point pen.

FF MK VII -- Hon. Roger Q. Shlockman III Esq. (Not Nearly As Dangerous*),
22/09/06 10:56pm
Former Jimblejammer 3000 or KZ4X owners,
Vladimer, Zvonimir and Pankracije Ltd. announced today they have successfully managed to neutralize both Jimblejammer 3000 and KZ4X models and are in the process of converting them to less lethal use. Zvonimir has collected quite a pile of cluster bombs which I am sure will make Pankracije very happy next time he flies the Sikorsky. Vladimer meanwhile has noticed this thread with all the gripes about reading or writing posts to the forum, filling out various coloured forms etc. with a little tinkering they have come up with FF MK VII forum and form filler with automatic document shredder.
The FF MK VII like it’s predecessors will run on most any fuel or power source although plugging it into the USB port is not recommended.
Contact Vladimer, Zvonimir and Pankracije Ltd. via my offices and they will be glad to give you an in-home demonstration.
Sincerely,
Hon. Roger Q. Shlockman III Esq.

Re: FF MK VII -- Lester Kozloski,

Well call me a fool, I am intrigued by the possibility of making my posting and form filling easier. Since I have a phobia to both ball-point pens and keyboards, the wearing of industrial grade neoprene gloves when touching these items has been a source of embarrassment for years.
Is the FF MK VII voice activated? Also what exactly do you mean where you say "In most cases the fissionable material has been removed, booby traps disarmed and conventional explosive materials removed." I am still shaking from my last experience so I would not like to have a repeat of that event.

I also bemoan of posting messages on forums, although I like to participate in a titter at reading some of the anecdotes of the wacky, or indeed the cries of assistance from the suicidal; some of their blatant attempts to procure sympathy make me giggle.
I also like to stare obtrusively at passing farmers. And pidgeons.
