(He stepped back to allow both sets of parents the chance to step in and say their congratulations to Shay and to show their affection for her, smiling a bit when he saw the moisture in his mother's eyes. Dani had always wanted to have another kid after him.. but for some reason she had never been able to conceive again. He knew it meant a lot to her to have a grandchild now and that she was probably upset that the baby would be so far away... though he was going to surprise her later with a webcame, so that they could talk and show her the baby whenever she wanted to. He looked over towards Kyrian and Haylie as he returned to Shay's side, sidling up and hitching a hip on the bed, leaning over to put his arm around her.) I can't wait to take you both home.. (He whispered to her, his voice a deep rumble as he pressed his forehead to her temple and brushed his lips over her cheek, just lingering close.) (He felt a distinct connection between himself and Haylie that hadn't been there earlier.. it was just something that made him want to press his face to her neck and pull her in close and just lose himself in her.. it was like he finally understood what drove a man to have a family. Moments like this, with a woman and a baby where the intstinct to love and protect was the strongest, that was what opened his eyes and made him realize that it wasn't fear of turning out like his dad.. it was that he hadn't realized what marraige and home was all about. He smiled as she shifted to hand him the baby, who seemed so tiny in his arms, where in Haylie's arms he had been a normal baby boy.) Hey there, Remy.. (He said to the baby, then looked over at Remy, Sr with a smirk on his face. He didn't say anything, just looked over at Haylie next, meeting her gaze and holding it before he got a little redfaced and looked down at the baby again.)
