She shrugged her shoulders, letting out a soft breath as she looked up at him. "I just..I need to take it a little slower this time...you know?" She stated softly, raising her hand up to his jaw. "I just want things to work this time and if they don't...if we move to fast and things fall apart again..." She shook her head, just letting it trail off but it was obvious she meant she just wouldn't be able to handle it. At his words about her dying, she frowned a little. "This is the reason we can't be partners, you know. I need you to be focusing on this mission instead of on me while we are out there, Kyrian, you could get killed just as easily as I could. I am going to be working with Courtney and you will be working with Braden and they'll have our backs, we can't be watching each other the whole time." Her words were adamant and maybe she was changing the subject from their relationship but she wasn't sure she could handle it without breaking down in tears again and they had to be downstairs in less then an hour and he needed some rest, she just couldn't handle talking about 'them'. Besides, things just seemed to be going fine between them for awhile now.
