Yeah, we're taking it slow, baby. (He felt like he was headbutting a brick wall.. but at the same time he was so comfortable with what they had between them at the moment that, as long as that didn't change, he could be content with what they had. At her words about working with other people he nodded and shifted to lay back again, too tired to remain in the position he had been in. His face had paled quite a bit since they had entered the room, and his fever was definitely intensifying.. there was a sheen of sweat on his body even as he lay there in the day with barely a stitch of clothing on.) I'm not sure how well I can work with that Jarhead. (He quipped before he drew his knees up a little, his stomach was churning again.. he didnt want to throw up anymore, it ached to think about it.) For all I know he'll off and shoot me before we get to the mission.
