(He was usually so intuitive about things that he would have felt the same way about their first time after the baby.. he would have bought her flowers and champagne and seduced her that evening.. made it all about her and a celebration of what she had given him.. but there were times in life when mistakes were made and this was one of them. Becuase that was what it was, selfish, the way he was taking her and claiming her without really seeing if she was in the mood. She had been upset when she had gotten there, expressed that to him, and he had simply taken her in his arms and taken her to bed. What kind of a husband was it that could do that to his wife? He nuzzled her neck as he neared his climax, his body tensing as he arched and let out a low throaty groan against her shoulder, letting himself go inside her, his body wracked with waves of intense pleasure. He held her after, remaining inside her as he sheltered her in the warmth of his strong arms, all but braindead from his release.)
