ALLEN …who was a star at two clubs
Who has been talked up and gets it a bit but generally in Flinders St at peak hour situations and can’t get a decent kick or handball in because either
- he isn’t strong enough
- or fast enough
- or evasive enough
YET

That said , at least he is getting it

Ryan with kick out duties has a team mate alone …a vita ‘ island’ at HBF …what does he do ?

Steene …definitely looks the part. Big , athletic and has spring . Yet he was rag doll material until Coxy rucked and Steenejoined a batch of monsters up forward ..here he looked marginally better

Harry D ….unimpressive. No sign of alleged speed

Dean ….big bloke who did zip in defence until he seemed to have been moved to CHB . There he did do a couple of constructive things . Can someone please tell me he mobile he is?

Tj …capable of being a star but he did a Houdini act at times for large slabs of time

West …strong young bloke. He can really play the game
Coaches did him very few favours by stacking the F line with Talls

Parker ..I would play him now . Rest Lipinski and send him off
to do a week of wrestling so that the mere thought of physical contact isn’t so abhorrent

The best three Pie Players were VFL listed
The FB and several running utility players who scored goals

There is a broad long sighted perspective that we need to address and it must be done
Tactically ( with respect to 2025 prospects)
Relevant to the raft of older players who haven’t got years of footy ahead
Also relevantly to the best of the next batch of emerging young players , based on week by week out put

We. need to promote young players sooner rather than later
The name I advancd is Parker
He didn’t wear out the stats man last night but what he did was sharp precise, accurate and positive
Players like this blossom when surrounded by others with like minded approach
