I don't know what coin he is on at Essendon, but I would fathom to say he is pretty well paid. For fear of losing a healthy side income away from his normal practice, he probably had his hands tied to an extent.
I do agree that he should have advised the AFL back in 2011 and will probably lose his job at Essendon anyway when all the washing is completed.
Would like to hear Hird actually state that he has fckd up to a degree in the process of implementing such a rigid program, yet nothing to this point.
Him taking this further to the supreme court reminds me of John Elliot back in 2001, and we all know how that ended for Carlton. This will get uglier than that in my opinion.
